Philips to invest US$68 million in Taiwan to expand packaging and testing capacity

Philips Semiconductors will invest NT$2.3 billion (about US$68 million) to boost packaging and testing capacity for a plant in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, according to HC Lu, vice president and general manager of Philips Semiconductors, Kaohsiung.
