Foreign brands account for more than 60% of Taiwan handset market in January

Foreign handset vendors including Nokia, Motorola, and Sony Ericsson, grabbed about 61% of the Taiwan market last month in terms of shipments with Nokia continuing to lead with a 26.4% market share, according to Taiwan-based channel distributors.
