Although Computex Taipei 2006 will feature notebook offerings from major Taiwan vendors including Acer, Asustek Computer and BenQ, few Taiwan companies that actually make notebooks will be attending the show, and a first time visitor might be fooled into thinking that Taiwan's notebook industry is on the decline.
