Acer and Asustek turn optimistic about 3Q08 shipments, says paper

With demand in Europe and China starting to recover, notebook vendors Acer and Asustek Computer are starting to turn optimistic about their shipments performance in the third quarter, according to a Chinese-language Commercial Times report.
