Taiwan LCD TV shipments still had satisfactory growth in the third quarter, as top maker TPV Technology saw strong shipments to the US retail channels. But in general, the LCD TV market in North America grew only 6% sequentially and 22% on year in the third quarter amid a looming financial crisis.
