Taiwan exports up on month but down 25% on year in August 2009

Taiwan's exports grew 10% on month to US$19.01 billion in August, representing the highest total since November 2008, according to the accounting department of Taiwan's Ministry of Finance (MOF), but on an annual basis, exports slid 24.6%.
