Taiwan-based Universal Scientific Industrial (USI) has posted consolidated revenues of NT$4.66 billion (US$143.4 million) for October 2009, a decline of 9% on month and on year.
Revenues generated by its EMS division reached NT$1.38 billion in October, accounting for 30% of total monthly revenues, up from 27% in the previous month, whereas sales of communication devices totaled NT$1.12 billion and accounted for a 24% share of total revenues, on par with September.
For the first 10 months of 2009, revenues amounted to NT$41.2 billion, declining 27% from a year earlier.
