USI March consolidated revenues up 36% sequentially

Universal Scientific Industrial (USI) saw its March 2010 consolidated revenues increase 36% sequentially to NT$5.85 billion (US$185.45 million), up 38% on year, according to the company. Consolidated revenues for the first quarter of 2010 reached NT$14.51 billion, up 26% on year.

USI expects its revenue performance in the second quarter of 2010 to be higher than the first with gross margin to also see improvement. The company also expects its annual revenues in 2010 to at least stay flat compared to 2009.
