GaAs foundry VPEC to increase capacity by 50-60% by year's end

Gallium arsenide (GaAs) wafer foundry Visual Photonics Epitaxy Company (VPEC) is looking to expand its production capacity by 50-60%, according to the company. Part of the new capacity is already operational in the second quarter.
