Global chip sales up 58% on year in 1Q10, says SIA

Worldwide semiconductor sales were US$69.2 billion in the first quarter, representing a 58.3% rise compared to US$43.7 billion in the same quarter of 2009, according to the Semiconductor Industry Association (SIA).
