Novatek sees improved gross margin in 1Q11

LCD driver IC maker Novatek Microelectronics has posted net profits of NT$916 million (US$31.73 million) for the first quarter of 2011, increasing 2.2% from the previous quarter. The earnings translated into an EPS of NT$1.53 for the quarter.
