Taiwan August export, import down on month

Taiwan recorded export value of US$25.79 billion in August 2011, decreasing 8.3% sequentially, but increasing 7.2% on year, while import value of US$23.16 billion slipped 6.5% on month but rose by 6.4% on year, according the Ministry of Finance.
