TSMC to increase 2012 capex to US$8-8.5 billion

During a company investors conference on April 26, Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) chairman Morris Chang revealed 2012 capex will be increased to US$8-8.5 billion, exceeding Samsung's 2012 capex of US$6.5-7 billion.
