BLU maker Coretronic announces net profits of over NT$500 million for 1H12

Backlight unit (BLU) maker Coretronics has reported net profits of NT$268 million (US$8.93 million) or an EPS NT$0.35 for the second quarter of 2012. For the January-June period, net profits reached NT$508 million or an EPS of NT$0.64.
