Samsung launches Galaxy Note 8.0 tablet

Samsung Electronics has launched its 8-inch tablet, the Galaxy Note 8.0 with functions including multi-window options to split the portable 8-inch screen and allow access to a number of live applications.

The device features a 1.6GHz quad-core processor, a 2GB memory and an 8-inch 1280 by 800 display with an option to choose from either 16GB or 32GB storage space.

The Galaxy Note 8.0 adopts the latest Android operating system with a 5-megapixel rear-end camera and another 1.3-megapixel one for the front end. Meanwhile, the machine also comes with Samsung's S Pen for touchscreen input.
