Commentary: Surface RT a hot potato for Microsoft

In its financial report for fiscal fourth-quarter 2013 Microsoft declared a US$900 million charge for adjustments to its Surface RT inventory, which created a US$0.07 per share impact on its EPS of US$0.59 during the period.
