Computex 2009: Quanta offers integrated wireless solutions for handheld devices and netbooks

In addition to being a notebook manufacturer, Quanta Computer has designed and manufactured wireless devices and modules for system integrators. The company exhibited during Computex 2009 a series of Wi-Fi products that meet IEEE802.11 a/b/g standards or soon-to-be-ratified 802.11n standard.

Quanta's integrated wireless solutions target markets for handheld devices, notebooks and embedded applications. The product portfolio is enriched with various WiMAX CPE and client card devices powered by UWB (Untra-Wide Band) and Zigbee technologies, according to the company.
