Apple's new iPod shuffle, at nearly half the size of the previous model, talks to users. The new VoiceOver feature enables the iPod shuffle to tell users the song titles, artists and playlist names.

The new music player, measuring 1.8-inch tall and 0.3-inch thin, is smaller than an AA battery. It holds up to 1,000 songs and is easier to use with all of the controls located on the earphone cord, the company said.
