Taiwan-based LCD TV makers' shipments are expected to reach 44.73 million units in 2013, a 20% on-year increase, due to an expected recovery in the LCD TV segment and increased orders from new customers, according to Digitimes Research.

Foxconn Electronics, TPV Technology and Compal Electronics are expected to receive 70% of orders during 2013. Additionally, Digitimes Research said the increased orders are expected to bump up the makers' global LCD TV share to 20% during the period.
