US-based vendor General Electric (GE) has launched five digital cameras in the Taiwan market through the local sales agent HLH Corporation.
GE added digital cameras as a new product line in 2007 starting in North America, market watchers commented.
The five models for sale in Taiwan currently and corresponding recommended retail prices are: 8-megapixel A835 at NT$6,990 (US$230), 8-megapixel E840s at NT$7,580, 10.1-megapixel E1035 at NT$7,580, 12.2-megapixel E1235 at NT$9,980, and 8-megapixel G2 (18mm thick only) at NT$9,980.
