Delta Electronics has revealed it has set up a reseach center at National Tsing Hua University (NTHU) for developing electrical, electronic and power management technologies.
The center was jointly set up with NTHU's Department of Power Mechanical Engineering and Department of Electrical Engineering.
The center will capitalize on cutting-edge technologies on high-efficiency conversion of electric energy, motor driving control and electromechanical system integration currently under research by the two departments to speed up development of advanced power management technology and boost application of the technology to supply chains, Delta noted.
In line with the Taiwan government promoting smart manufacturing, NTHU has set up a national smart manufacturing center while Delta has been developing industrial automation solutions.
