Avago announces LEDs for outdoor electronic sign and signal applications

Avago Technologies on September 28 announced three new series of high-brightness LEDs for the outdoor electronic sign and signal (ESS) market. Avago's HLMP-xx61 series of oval-shaped LED lamps have been specifically designed for use in full-color outdoor stadium scoreboards, electronic bill boards, display signs, traffic signals and signs.
