Shipments saw a slight sequential drop in the first quarter; but on an on-year basis, growth was still significant. The snowstorms and inventory issues in the retail channel in China did hit large-size panel suppliers during January and February. But strong shipments of monitor panels from AUO Optronics (AUO) and Chi Mei Optoelectronics (CMO) in March managed to send overall fist-quarter shipments to the monitor segment up 2.4% sequentially.
