Quanta schedules capacity expansions in China; leading Taiwan players to total 7.5 million notebooks in monthly capacity

Quanta Computer has allocated almost NT$600 million (about US$18.3 million) to expand production at its Shanghai (China) subsidiary China, according to a February 27 filing with the Taiwan Stock Exchange (TSE).
