Taiwan recorded a total export value of US$24.89 billion in November 2012, decreasing 6.2% on month but increasing 0.9% on year, while the corresponding total import value of US$21.49 billion slipped 0.9% on month but rose 0.1% on year, according to statistics released by the Ministry of Finance (MOF) on December 7.
Among different categories of Taiwan-made products, electronics had the largest export value at US$7.137 billion in November, dipping 1.9% on month but growing 7.4% on year.
January-November total export value of US$275.01 billion and total import value of US$248.76 billion dropped on year by 3.3% and 4.3% respectively.
