I-Chiun posts profit for 3Q09 Oct 15, 15:52 LED leadframe maker I-Chiun Precision Industry has posted a net profit of NT$228.43 million (US$7.09 million) for the third quarter of 2009, up 3.17% sequentially and up 38.75% on year. OLED displays revenues set new record of US$192 million in 2Q09, says DisplaySearch Sep 30, 16:07 Global OLED revenues have set a new record of US$192 million for the second quarter of 2009, up 32% sequentially and 22% on year, according to DisplaySearch. The research firm forecasts the total OLED display market will grow to US$6.2 billion by 2016 from US$0.6 billion in 2008, with a CAGR of 33%. Handset main displays will be the leading application with revenues of about US$3 billion in 2016; OLED TV will be the second largest application, with revenues of about US$2 billion in 2016.
