LCD TV shipments from Taiwan totaled 2.13 million units in the third quarter of 2006, up 27.9% on quarter and up 83.5% on year. The growth was below the 35% DigiTimes Research previously estimated for the third quarter, as inventory problems stunted growth. LCD TV inventory in the channel was still two weeks higher than normal through August 2006.Table of contents
