iPV Tracker: TOPPER SUN's intelligent solar tracking system that adjusts the position of PV modules automatically to track the sun can increase the power yield by 30-40%

Press release

TOPPER SUN announced its patented iPV Tracker, a lightweight and dual-axis sun tracking system for high efficiency solar panels. TOPPER SUN iPV tracker, moving in both horizontal and vertical axes, can track the Sun's apparent motion automatically and precisely. By adjusting dynamically the position of PV modules to track the sun can boost the power yield by 30-40%. With lightweight structure design and unique iPV real-time monitoring platform, the company defines the next generation of robust, reliable, and affordable solar tracking system.

"TOPPER SUN's experiences in solar system integration together with its branded high efficiency modules enable us to take an entirely different approach to tracking system", said Summer Luo, Chairman of TOPPER SUN. "If the target is to increase the power generation only, it is simply not enough for us to identify the difference between iPV Tracker and other tracking systems. Bringing down the cost of installation, shipment, and maintenance by patented structure design is the key to enable us to advance ahead of our competitors."

With the benefits from pre-equipped angle sensor and pre-programmed astronomical A.I., iPV Tracker can adjust the error of angle between the Sun and the tracker to a basic level, and utilize its wide-angle range to track and face the Sun without any missing. Additionally, the design of iPV Tracker based on a self-supporting structure, is able to hold the wind load up to 32.7~36.9m/s in different modes. The most distinguishing feature of iPV Tracker is its networking capability, which allows users to monitor the power generation data of iPV Tracker in real-time via any internet devices - such as an iPhone, iPad, laptop or computer.

iPV Tracker is now running for demonstration, and will be installed more in Taichung City, Taiwan. TOPPER SUN had held a new product launch event on May 9th and officially introduced iPV Tracker and iPV system to customers. The next stage, TOPPER SUN iPV Tracker will show up around the world via global distributors. Delivering one of the high-efficiency systems in the solar industry will help achieve the company's goal in making solar energy the most widely used and affordable power source in the world.
