The company is the second largest battery manufacturer in China. Battery business accounts for 94% of its total revenue, all of which comes from the Chinese market. Gotion High-tech produces its own high nickel ternary anode materials and silicon-based cathode materials, and is developing semi-solid-state batteries, with mass production scheduled for the second half of 2022. Their factories are mostly located in China, and a new plant in Germany was announced in June 2022.
