Will Semiconductor is China's major IC design houses, developing TDDI (touch with display driver) and CIS for handsets, as well as analog ICs. CIS is mainly coming from the acquisition of Omnivision in 2019, making it one of the top three automotive CIS suppliers in the world. In addition to CIS, the company has also developed automotive ASICs and LCOS for the automotive application. The former is mainly for monitoring driver status and the latter is used as display technology for automotive AR-HUDs. Will Semiconductor’s analog IC business includes MOSFETs, IGBTs, and MCUs, but they are not yet used in the automotive application.
