SiS debuts Xabre400 high-speed graphics chip with 8×8 support

On April 24, Silicon Integrated Systems (SiS) unveiled its Xabre400 graphics chip, claiming it to be the world’s first AGP 8x graphics chip and the only one of its class that supports 8×8 (AGP 8x and DirectX 8.1) functions.
