Quanta Display lowers financial forecast

Affected by the sharp decline of TFT LCD prices, Quanta Display lowered its 2002 financial forecast yesterday, predicting a pre-tax loss of NT$452 million. The company is the only Taiwanese TFT LCD producer that has forecast a loss for this year.
