Brief: Asian DRAM spot prices drop as Hynix dumps inventory in Taiwan

Asian DRAM spot prices yesterday dropped 2.5% and hit below US$6 per chip as a result of South Korea’s Hynix Semiconductors dumping about three million DRAM chips into Taiwan, according to an April 16 Economic Daily News report.
