VIS will ramp capacity to 65,000 wafers by 1Q 2005

Vanguard International Semiconductor (VIS) plans to expand its fab capacity to 65,000 8-inch equivalent wafers per month by the end of next quarter, up from 55,000 wafers currently, according to Paul Chien, company chairman.
