Japan: Passive-component firms project demand will not slow in 1Q 2005

Japan-based Murata Manufacturing, TDK and Taiyo Yuden are projecting that demand for passive components for the first quarter of 2005 will remain at fourth-quarter 2004 levels, according to sources at each of the companies.
