ProMOS reports industrial accident at Taichung 12-inch fab; company stresses no operations will be affected

Leading memory maker ProMOS Technologies reported an industrial accident occurred at its Taichung 12-inch fab (Fab 3) on February 20, with two engineers being burned by hydrofluoric acid during examination of new equipment in the clean room.
