SEMI: Semiconductor equipment billings reach US$9.58 billion in 1Q

SEMI has reported that worldwide semiconductor equipment billings reached US$9.58 billion in the first quarter of 2006. The billings figure is 20% higher than the fourth quarter of 2005 and about 3 percent above the same quarter a year ago.
