Backlight unit maker Kenmos had losses in 2Q

Taiwan-based backlight unit (BLU) maker Kenmos Technology reported losses of NT$173 million (US$5.26 million) in the second quarter of 2006 due to unsatisfactory performance of TV panel industry and price-cutting pressure, sources said.
