Demand from China's handset and tablet vendors managed to keep Taiwan's small- to medium-size TFT LCD panel industry in a healthy state in the first quarter of 2013, with shipments falling 4.9% sequentially but growing 13.2% on year. Tablet panels became one of the top-three among all small- to medium-size applications shipped by Taiwan makers, but handset panels remained overwhelmingly as the leader.Table of contents
