Inventory of LCD TV panels built up in the 2012 had yet to be digested in first-quarter 2013, while demand from the sluggish PC market remained weak. Taiwan makers' large-size TFT LCD panel shipments in the first quarter went down 13.9% on quarter and 8.1% on year.
