The large screen size can display a wealth of data making it a central "go to" station for medical personnel. In addition, I/O connectivity is easy too! A secondary I/O extension area supports three additional USB ports, one Gigabit LAN connection, and one isolated COM port. This makes it simple to connect to existing hospital information systems, existing medical equipment and additionally to support a variety of peripherals from smart card readers, to RFID, to barcode scanners.
HDMI Available Too!
HDMI input is also optionally available, if the project requires it. This enables HIT-W222 to become an all-in-one solution for other needs in the hospital, such as infotainment and gaming for patients, or high-definition education and live-casts for training and observation.
