Quantum dot materials still an issue, say observers

LCD TV panel makers are pushing quantum dot (QD) wide color gamut (WCG) panel production in 2015 but QD materials containing cadmimum are toxic, raising environmental concern, according to Taiwan-based TV supply chain makers.
