Imagination Technologies (IMG.L) announces that it was awarded a Partner of the Year Award from TSMC during the TSMC Open Innovation Platform (OIP) Ecosystem Forum. Imagination received this recognition in the Graphics IP category for its collaboration with TSMC to develop highly optimized reference design flows and silicon implementations using Imagination's industry-leading PowerVR Series6 GPUs combined with TSMC's advanced process technologies, including 16nm FinFET process technology.
TSMC selects the winners for the partner award based on customers' feedback, the number of tape-outs and wafer shipment enabled by the IP, along with the strength of technical support offered by the company.
