Elo, a leading global supplier of commercial touchscreen solutions, has introduced large format TouchPro Pro-M projected capacitive (PCAP) touchscreens. The latest Pro-M series will catch the eyes of today's consumers. This series includes the standard 32-inch, 42-inch, 46-inch and 55-inch touchscreens with customized larger screens, and together with Elo's existing Pro-G series, covers multi-touch screen sizes from 7.0-inch up to 70-inch. These larger screens are designed for more flexible commercial usage and are customizable to meet the needs of almost any application or environment.
Elo's TouchPro family of touchscreens includes the Pro-G touchscreens, which offer a highly durable glass-glass construction in sizes up to 27-inch while the Pro-M series is designed with leading edge mesh construction with sizes up to 70-inch. With the Pro-G series, touchscreens can already be tuned to provide multi-touch performance in robust, high durability applications with up to an 8mm total touch-through glass capability. The Pro-M series uses an advanced metal mesh solution which has a lighter weight construction to balance the larger sizes and uses leading low resistance technology. This construction allows highly flexible screen designs that will meet most application requirements and boasts industry leading optical performance. The Pro-M touchscreens can also be customized to provide support for up to a 50-point, multi-touch solution. Both solutions offer excellent optics, fast touch response and high durability with industrial grade reliability.
With more than 40 years of engineering expertise, Elo provides designers various custom options to meet their specific needs with a range of cover glass choices. Glass treatments including tempered, chemically strengthened, heat strengthened, anti-glare, or thicker cover glass for vandal-proof applications are all available for customization. In addition, Elo drivers offer enhanced capabilities including touch on release, touch exclusion zones, touch count restrictions, edge acceleration, beep on touch and a real-time application programming interface. While already supporting multiple operating systems including Apple Mac OS, Google Android, Linux, and Microsoft Windows, Elo design engineers can also custom craft driver software to your specifications.
