Heraeus Photovoltaics, a leading technology solution provider for the renewable energy industry, will be introducing plenty of new products and services at the 11th SNEC International Photovoltaic Power Generation Conference & Exhibition in Shanghai. They will enable customers to increase photovoltaic cell efficiency and significantly enhance production processes to better compete in the photovoltaic industry.
The SNEC as premier tradeshow for Asia's booming energy and photovoltaic (PV) industry takes place from April 19 to 21 at the Shanghai New International Expo Center.
Heraeus will launch five new metallization paste products to support new cell technologies such as double-printing, n-type, black-silicon, knotless screens and PERC (passivated emitter and rear cell), a new service product for diffusion consultancy, and two new production process products - HeraGlaze impurity barrier crucible coating and infrared-lamps (IR-emitters), making this the biggest launch program in the history of Heraeus Photovoltaics. The new products mark Heraeus Photovoltaics' expansion in the PV value chain and will be showcased at Heraeus' booth (Booth 310 in Hall W3).
"All of our new products and services have the common goal: significantly enhance the overall efficiencies of our customers at cell level as well at production process level. Heraeus is convinced that by increasing efficiencies the costs of renewable energies can be reduced by a further 50 percent within the next five years and we expect to be able to contribute about one-third to this cost reduction," said Andreas Liebheit, President Heraeus Photovoltaics.
Heraeus Photovoltaics has also lined up many events at its booth on April 19 and 20 including an after-work event (April 19), a booth party (April 20) as well as hourly presentations in Chinese and English, the Solar Superheroes live performances, Virtual Reality game and HR center to inform you about a career at Heraeus throughout both days.
In addition, Heraeus Photovoltaics will be making two presentations during the conference held at Kerry Hotel Pudong, Shanghai. On April 19, Heraeus Photovoltaics is speaking at the Scientific Conference with its presentation entitled Heraeus: the Technology Leader Pushing for the Limit of c-Si Solar Cell Metallization, 10:45am - 11:00am, while on April 20, its presentation at the Industry Workshop, is called Screen Printing and Metallization Paste 2017 and Beyond, from 2:00pm to 2:15pm.
