OToBrite Electronics, an ADAS supplier of XPeng's, is developing vision AI systems as its core products. Its blind spot information system (BSIS) has entered mass production and will start shipping to Europe in the second half of 2022.

OTobrite's products include level 2 ADAS vision sensing system, vision AI for the different radius of inner wheels, BSIS, vision AI driving monitoring system, and autonomous driving camera modules.

The Taiwan-based supplier is accelerating development of vision AI systems from autonomous parking assistant to other new applications for passenger cars and commercial vehicles. The ADAS applications such as ACC, LKA, BSM, 3D panoview, and fatigue alert can be integrated into AI neuro network. The network can process over 30 sensors at the same instant and the sensing system remains uninterrupted, said Ian Tseng, product strategy and marketing manager at oToBrite.

While BSIS has become a standard feature for commercial vehicles in the EU, oToBrite's AI sensing for different radius of inner wheel and BSIS can detect vehicles and pedestrians within 200+ square meters.

OToBrite also targets Japan for its driving monitoring system which can complete identification and verification of the driver within half a second before starting monitoring. The 3D AI face recognition technology detects certain driving behaviors within 0.1 second, such as distraction, dozing, smoking and telephoning, and can be integrated with the dash cam.
