Smartphone shipments to China went down over 10% sequentially in the first quarter of 2024 and are expected to stay at almost at the same level in the second quarter.
Abstract
According to DIGITIMES Research's study and findings, smartphone shipments to the China market almost reached 70 million units in the first quarter of 2024, down 11.4% quarter-on-quarter but up 11.1% from a year ago.
Looking into the second quarter of 2024, smartphone shipments to the China market are estimated to remain at a very similar level as in the first quarter.
In the first quarter of 2024, the top five smartphone brands in the China market were Vivo, Oppo, Honor, Huawei, and Apple.
