Manufacturers are pushing to adopt digital technologies such as AI to strengthen their supply chain resilience, a common issue that the whole manufacturing industry has been eyeing to address.
Abstract

In recent years, a series of unforeseen events repeatedly disrupted supply chain operations and significantly impacted global industries. DIGITIMES Research has observed that enhancing supply chain resilience is now an effort that every manufacturer undertakes.

Not only are manufacturers relocating or diversifying production bases, but they also looking to leverage artificial intelligence (AI), cloud platforms, IoT, robots, digital twins and other technologies to help them manage their supply chain more easily and efficiently while enhancing resilience across supply chain elements: planning, procurement, manufacturing and logistics.

Their strategies enable them to minimize supply chain impact and resume normal operation swiftly when something unexpected happens.
