Server ODMs are strengthening their deployment in the field of liquid cooling with the ability to bear the risk of leakage expected to reshape the supply chain ecosystem.
Abstract

DIGITIMES Research believes that liquid cooling technology is transforming the server cooling supply chain ecosystem. Various industry players are actively positioning themselves in the liquid cooling sector, primarily due to the more stringent cooling requirements brought about by high-performance computing and AI servers. Liquid cooling technology, with its superior heat dissipation performance, assists servers in maintaining stable operational efficiency.

The evolution of server cooling has progressed from the mature and stable air cooling technology to the more structurally complex liquid cooling technology. In the past, within the air cooling sector, each player had a distinct and straightforward role. However, with the advent of liquid cooling technology, the roles among various players have become more complex.

In the absence of established standards for liquid cooling technology, various industry players leverage their own strengths to enter the market and extend related capabilities, thereby increasing the likelihood of their liquid cooling solutions being adopted.
