According to DIGITIMES research's study and analysis, smartphone shipments in the Chinese market for the third quarter of 2024 reached 69.81 million units, marking a 2.8% decrease from the previous quarter. Compared to the same period in 2023, this represented a 10.3% increase.
Looking ahead to the fourth quarter of 2024, it is anticipated that the shipment volumes will experience a double-digit quarterly growth.
In the third quarter of 2024, the top five smartphone brands in the Chinese market, in order, were Vivo, Oppo, Xiaomi, Huawei, and Honor. Compared to the previous quarter, Vivo and Oppo maintained their rankings, while Xiaomi and Huawei each rose by one position, and Honor dropped by two positions.
